Information on Hangeul Culture Experience Programs for Foreigners

  • Theme: Hangeul and Hangeul Culture (calligraphy, fonts, design, literature, etc.)
  • Target Participants: Groups of people from overseas (foreign nationals, students, and workers residing in Korea, etc.)
  • Schedule: Weekdays (Mon – Fri), excluding annual museum closing days
  • Duration: 60 minutes (online) / 120 minutes (onsite)
  • Participation Fee: Free of charge
  • How to Apply:
    - Fill in the participation form and submit it via email (qrin514@korea.kr).
    - The program schedule will be finalized in consultation with the program manager.
  • Please Note:
    - This program is conducted in Korean.

    * Elementary-level and above language skills recommended.

    - Only groups may apply for the program.
(Online Program) The Beauty of Hangeul Calligraphy
  • Details: Understanding the modern use of Hangeul fonts and creating your own postcards and wall-hangings in diverse styles of calligraphy
  • Target Participants: Groups of people from overseas (min. 20 people – max. 30 people)
  • How to Participate: Virtual real-time sessions through an online platform (Zoom)
(Online Program) Encountering Hangeul through Design
  • Details: Understanding the principles and characteristics of Hangeul and creating your own goods by designing new forms of Hangeul
  • Target Participants: Groups of people from overseas (min. 20 people – max. 30 people)
  • How to Participate: Virtual real-time sessions through an online platform (Zoom)
