This place is the specialized library of the Museum designed to share the linguistic value of Hangeul with the public. Hangeul Library collects and possesses specialized books related to scripts and languages. The visitors can also enjoy and check out general books of culture, arts, humanity and children’s stories, and various audio and video materials. Besides, Hangeul Library exhibits facsimiles of old documents according to quarterly special themes and reading lectures for the public.

National Hangeul Museum possesses two storages. They are repositories that are completely blockaded from the outside and feature double-seal construction. The Museum’s collections are permanently preserved in the storages. In addition, donated and deposited objects or materials are safely conserved and managed in the storages. National Hangeul Museum strives to maintain the best scientific conservation of the collections and prevent any biological damage by setting up the conservation science laboratory and fumigation room.

The auditorium of National Hangeul Museum are open to the public where they can to actively utilize and creatively reinterpret research products and materials that the Museum possesses or exhibits. In the auditorium with the size of 150 seats on the first basement level, various academic activities, events and lectures are held.
